Introducing The MUSS Calendar

We've launched a new downloadable MUSS Calendar to keep you updated on when and where MUSS events are happening on campus.  Powered by Google Calendar, when we update the calendar or add an event, it will update on your phone, tablet or computer to keep you informed.

Here are instructions on how to download this calendar to your computer or mobile device:

Google Calendar (Any computer with a web browser & Android devices)

1. Go to http://www.google.com/calendar and sign in to your account.
2. Once you're signed in, click here to add the calendar
3. Your Android device should automatically sync the calendar

Apple iCal - Mac

1. In iCal, choose the "Subscribe" from the calendar menu at the top of your screen.
2. Enter the following URL in the Subscribe to box and click Subscribe:
1. https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/mightyutahstudentsection%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
3. iCal will download the calendar and ask you for a title. be sure to select the refresh box to key iCalendar to check for updates. For example, selecting every day will instruct iCal to check for updates to the calendar on a daily basis.
4. You can now choose to show or hide your new calendar by selecting or deselecting the calendar's title in the Calendars screen. When updates are made to the master events calendar, you'll receive them in your calendar program automatically.

• Download the iCal file manually by clicking here.  Once downloaded, click to open and set up. Note: If you manually download the calendar, it will not update as new events are added. 

iPad/iPhone

1. Download and open the calendar file labeled "basic.ics" by clicking this link.
2. Select subscribe to the calendar so that you will receive calendar updates.

Or

1. Go to Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendars/Accounts/Add Account.
2. Choose "Other."
3. Under "Calendars", choose "Add Subscribed Calendar."
4. Enter the the following URL, then click "Next". The calendar will load, and prompt you to save.
1. https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/mightyutahstudentsection%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics 
2. or enter your can enter tinyurl.com/TheMUSSiCal

You can also sync the MUSS Calendar to your Google Calendar using the instructions above, and follow these instructions to sync your Google Calendar with your Apple Device.

Microsoft Outlook

1. In Outlook 2010, go to "Calendar", right-click and choose "Add Calendar" and click "From Internet."
2. Enter the following URL:
1. https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/mightyutahstudentsection%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics
3. Click "OK" and agree to auto-updates.
4. The calendar will be listed under "Other Calendars" with the name you chose. When updates are made to the master events calendar, you'll receive them in your calendar program automatically.
